The Poetry Retreat 

A poetry boot-camp to improve your writing, hone your skills and get you confident about publishing and performing. The Poetry Retreat is an immersive residency held in Goa. The residency has been specifically designed for those interested in writing, performing and/or publishing poetry.

The residency is open to both Indian and International poets.  
 

The goal is to give poets all the tools they need to understand the nuances of poetry, how to write for the page and performance, how to edit poetry and finally how to become a poem when you perform.

The residency is open to 8 poets from around the world. You could have just started writing/performing poetry or you could be working on a collection of poems that you hope to publish. Or maybe you need to be inspired to write again. 

 

The curriculum is includes one-on-one feedback from facilitators, extensive workshops and performance exercises to help you explore your poetic voice.
